APRIL: An afghan was donated to Red Cross, $50 donated to World Vision, $100 donated to the Adopt A Book campaign of Fredericton Public Library, a monetary donation was sent to ACWW for ACWW Day April 29, three baby quilts were made for the Kermesse sale at IWK Hospital, Halifax.

MAY: Bazaar items valued at $400 were sent to the Kermesse Sale in Halifax, $50 was given to York Manor to help purchase a blanket warmer, $500 was donated to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for the MRI machine campaign, 3 grab bags were sent to the Sale Table at the W. I. Provincial Convention.

JUNE: 45 pairs of knitted children's slippers were made and given to Fredericton Transition House, $500 Scholarship was given to a deserving student at the Fredericton High School Graduation.

JULY: Picnic Time at the Everett Farm, 12 comfort bags were packed with goodies (soap, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.) for Transition House guests in Fredericton, $50 was donated to Celtic Discovery Performing Troupe toward their up-coming trip to Ireland and Scotland July 2007.

AUGUST: A mystery shopping trip to Frenchy's in Oromocto, a box was packed for a 6-year-old boy under the Samaritan's Purse appeal (clothing, toiletries, toys and treats were included).

SEPTEMBER: nother afghan for the Red Cross, many paper products were donated for use at the W.I. Home in Woodstock, a baby quilt and matching crib bumper pad were donated to the VON for their "Healthy Baby and Me" program, two items were made for the Sale Table at Loyalist I District Convention.

OCTOBER: Another afghan completed, this one went to Pine Grove Nursing Home, 202 jars of baby food were given to the Fredericton Food Bank for World Food Day October 16, $50 was given to the "Run for the Cure" Breast Cancer Campaign when Jeanne Kaye Speight was sponsored by our Branch.

NOVEMBER: 96 pairs of mittens, hats, gloves and scarves were given to the Food Bank for the Christmas Cheer Boxes for the less fortunate in Fredericton, $100 was given to the Community Kitchen and $100 was given to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 4 Poppy Fund.

DECEMBER: $250 was given to the "Lights for Life" campaign at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, $150 was donated to the CBC "Food for Families" appeal, a poinsettia plant was sent to decorate the W. I. Home for Christmas, a delightful Christmas luncheon was enjoyed bat the Holiday Inn, at the Mactaquac Dam.

JANUARY: Many Bingo prizes were given for the W. I. Home, a lap robe of 4 inch knitted squares was completed and given to the Veterans' Unit in Fredericton, $100 was donated to the Transition House, Handmade beaded pins were sold with the proceeds going to AIDS.

FEBRUARY: We bring our pennies which we collect all year for the Pennies for Friendship fund of the ACWW and our total this year was $80.00, another lap robe was given to the Veterans' Unit, another 80 jars of baby food were donated to the Fredericton Food Bank, $200 was donated to the Oromocto High School to help with a May 1 reception for families whose members are currently serving in Afghanistan, $200 was given to the Celtic Discovery Performing Troupe for the trip to Ireland and Scotland, $200 was donated to War Amps Champ Program to support their wok with youth, $100 was given to the FWIC project "Into the North" to help with school supplies.

MARCH: Many new and recycled articles were donated to the Kindergarten Department of Kingsclear Consolidated School, $200 was donated to the Kidney Foundation of Canada for their appeal, mittens, hats, scarves and socks were brought to the meeting to be included in the "Into the North" project, a fun "Green Auction" was held with proceeds of $92.25 being raised, $100 was sent to the FWIC Office to help with the Picnic Area re-roofing appeal at $2.00 per shingle, a quilting bee was held on March 9 at the Time Out Lodge on Everett Farm when a baby quilt was made for the upcoming Kermesse Sale at the IWK Hospital, Halifax.
